Exciting News! EDGE is now CIMS Certified with Honors!

What does this mean? Learn a little more about it in our video explainer :)

Thank you to all of you who do your work everyday to make this possible!

The certification process began with a qualification look at our business where they reviewed the number of accounts, our revenue, number of cleaning personnel, departments in the company, and what type of business we have. Once qualified, we were required to submit documented evidence of how we handle the following:

  • Quality Plan

  • Service Delivery Plan

  • Purchasing Procedures

  • Human Resource Policy

  • Hiring Practices

  • Site-Specific Orientation

  • Executive Development

  • Management Training

  • Cleaning Personnel Training

  • OSHA Regulatory Compliance

  • Organization Policy/Environmental Management System

  • Mission, Vision, Values

  • Business Planning

  • Responsibility and Authority Plan

  • Risk Management

Once the evidence is submitted, a 3rd party assessor is assigned to confirm that we have implemented everything we have documented. They confirm this by way of reviewing the documentation itself, by interviewing our employees and our customers, and by taking a deep dive into our systems and processes.

The assessor then scores us on each area and submits the recommendation for certification. In order to achieve certification, we must be in compliance with 60% of their standard.

Not only did EDGE achieve meet the minimum standard, but we exceeded the requirements by a landslide with a final score of 94% earning us the CIMS certification with Honors!

We would like to thank all of those who participated in the certification process itself, but most importantly we want to thank everyone in the company for being a part of our team and contributing every day to consistently providing our quality services. We know you all do a great job of this, and now we have this distinguished certification that proves it to everyone else.
